Leading diagnostics information services provider, Quest Diagnostics, and South Carolina’s Regional Medical Center (RMC) have announced a partnership aimed at enhancing the value and quality of diagnostic services for doctors and their patients. Under the new partnership agreement, Quest would be providing full laboratory management services.

CEO and President of RMC, Charles Williams stated that the new collaboration with Quest will enable the company to stay focused towards improving patient care and outcomes, working with an industry leader who can access the most sophisticated diagnostics equipment available. He added that RMC would benefit from expertise, scale and innovation that Quest bring to the partnership.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control has granted a Level III Trauma Center designation to RMC, which also holds advanced certification as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission.
